The following pictures will show why blogging has been slow here on the porch. This is the room we’re adding so my wife’s mom can come live with us. We’ve done everything ourselves except the block work.
Amber and I did the floor together. I didn’t break down and buy a nail gun until after we did the floor. Yeah, I know.

My stepdad(who’s the brains behind this operation) came up 4th of July to help us get the walls up.
I’ll continue to update our progress here. I hope to be done by the end of August. It will be close.
Dax…Great pictures and update. Your project looks great thus far. We are really proud of you for undertaking a big challenging project like this, but then, you have always liked challenges. Wow! You guys really hve been working hard! Looks great. I know that it will be perfection when it is all said and done. Love the picture of Little Man with the hammer.
