While I have been a huge Ron Paul supporter for a number of years(and continue to be) the Constitution Party has nominated Baptist pastor Chuck Baldwin to run for President. See the article here. What does this mean for Christian conservatives? Well, for one it means that you now have two choices to vote for. You can support Republican candidate Ron Paul(writing him in even though he more than likely won’t get the Republican nomination) or vote for Constitution Party candidate Chuck Baldwin. This is a chance for Christian Americans to send a strong message to the empire. We’re not going to vote for your pre-planned, hand picked, big government Republicrat candidates anymore. If Americans haven’t figured out that liberals won’t stop the war in Iraq(or anywhere else), and so-called conservatives aren’t going to cut taxes or end abortion then we’ve already crossed the Rubicon. Christians who for whatever reason wouldn’t support Ron Paul(who is a Christian) because he was too libertarian now have no excuse not to vote for a clear Christian candidate. If your mindset is that you can’t support the third party Christian candidate because it would take a vote away from the liberal John McCain and ensure Hillary or even the more liberal Obama a chance at the White House then that says a lot about your integrity as a person. You can support the warfare state(McCain), or the welfare state(Hillary,Obama). A vote for any of these would be a vote supporting socialism. Or you can vote for liberty, freedom, and the principles on which this nation was founded on embedded in our Constitution by voting for Ron Paul or Chuck Baldwin. The choice is yours. Keep your conscience clear and vote for a true Christian conservative.

Dake,
I would add “Totalitarianism” to the category which McCancer and Hillary fall under!

BJ-
Amber can’t believe you spelled “totalitarianism” right! I can’t either. Are you taking a spelling course online with all of this extra time you have now?

Good job keeping up with the Constitution Party. Looks like I will be staying put and voting for Chuck Baldwin this fall. I truly believe if all professing Christians would vote for the best Biblically qualified candidate, God would surely bless us as a nation, no matter who ends up winning the election. God can use anyone to accomplish His goals. We just have to remember His ways are higher than ours, and to trust in His sovereignty.
